Monday 19th Week in Ordinary Time A:

John 12:24-26: Jesus explains why he is willing to face death. It was necessary for his resurrection, glorification and fruitfulness.
We are called to lose and hate our life not in the sense that we disregard it, but in the sense that we freely and willingly give it up for God. Our life is precious because we have been created in the image and likeness of God, so we must know God by loving and serving with humility doing God's will or plan in our lives. We follow Jesus being servants or slaves as our duty and responsibility surrendering ourselves fully to Jesus which means let it be done according to God's plan and not our own will/plan like Mary, Joseph and Jesus did in their lives for the greater glory of God and salvation of humankind.
The reward for serving Jesus is to receive honor from God the Father on this earth and as it is in heaven.
Do we wish like a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies and produces much grain of faith, hope and love?
